Otto is a fully automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. Here is what you need to run it, how to install it, and how to record your own account on Karnek.
This page is written to be followed in order: what you need, how to install Otto, and how to record your own account. A few details, the supported brokers, the minimum MetaTrader 5 build and the minimum balance, are still being confirmed. They are marked below and will appear here once settled, rather than being guessed at.
Otto trades stock indices, currency pairs and gold from a single MetaTrader 5 account. To run it, you need four things.
Otto runs on the MetaTrader 5 platform. It needs a minimum build of To be confirmed or later. Otto does not run on MetaTrader 4.
A broker account that offers the major stock indices, a range of currency pairs and gold, since Otto trades all three from one account. It has been tested on To be confirmed.
Otto needs to run without interruption, so it is best hosted on a VPS or on a machine that stays on. A break in connection means missed trades.
A minimum balance applies at the Low risk setting, so Otto can open the smallest position its sizing allows. The figure for each risk setting is To be confirmed, and will be listed on the pricing page.
Once you have the requirements above, setup takes only a few steps. Leave every setting at its default unless you have a specific reason to change it.
Otto is licensed per trading account, direct on this site, so your licence and updates are handled for you. See pricing →
Add Otto the way you add any Expert Advisor, then attach it to a chart, following the installation guide.
Select Low, Medium or High. A separate Prop mode is available for funded accounts. See the risk controls →
Turn on automated trading in MetaTrader 5 and confirm that Otto shows as running on the chart.
A full installation guide, with screenshots, will be linked here.
Karnek is a trade-tracking platform. You can record your own Otto account on it, the same way Otto's public demo accounts are recorded, so you can follow every trade in one place.
Karnek connects to a trading account through a read-only link and records every trade directly from the broker. Because the link is read-only, the figures come from the broker's own data and cannot be edited, and Karnek can read your account but cannot place a trade on it.
Sign up on Karnek and open the panel for adding a trading account.
Add it using the read-only investor password, so Karnek reads your trades with no ability to trade on the account.
From then on, every trade Otto takes on your account appears on Karnek, read-only from the broker, with its stop loss and target.
The support route and response times are being finalised, and publish here once confirmed.
Buy Otto, install it on MetaTrader 5, and record your own account on Karnek.
